Canal Public Security Sub-bureau publicized the Law on the Management of Overseas NGO Activities in China


In order to standardize and guide the activities of overseas ngos in China, protect their legitimate rights and interests, and promote their exchanges and cooperation in accordance with the law, China officially implemented the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Administration of Activities of Overseas ngos in China on January 1, 2017. The Law is hereinafter referred to as the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Administration of Activities of Overseas ngos in China. It consists of seven chapters and 54 articles.April 15, 2022 is the seventh “National Security Education Day”. In order to further enhance the national security awareness of the whole people and strengthen the overall view of national security, the Overseas NGO Management Office of Canal Branch of Cangzhou Public Security Bureau and everyone have a look at the Management Law, please see the picture below:Those who, without registration or filing, carry out activities in the name of representative offices of overseas Non-Governmental organizations or overseas non-governmental organizations shall be banned or ordered to stop their illegal acts by the public security organ of the people’s government at or above the city divided into districts;Confiscation of illegal property and gains;If a warning is given to the person directly responsible, and the circumstances are serious, he shall be detained for not more than 10 days.Units and individuals in China know overseas ngos to register representative office, temporary activities, not for the record, and working with, or accept the entrustment, finance, agency or in a disguised form of its activities, project activity funds receipt and payment, by public security organs of the people’s government at or above the level of district-constituted municipalities should be banned or shall be ordered to stop the illegal act;Confiscation of illegal property and gains;If the circumstances are serious, the person directly responsible shall be detained for not more than 10 days.Where an overseas NON-GOVERNMENTAL organization or representative office of an overseas non-governmental organization commits a crime such as splitting the state, undermining national unity or subverting state power, the registration and administration organ shall revoke its registration certificate, and the public security organ of the people’s government at or above the city divided into districts shall investigate the criminal responsibility of the persons directly responsible according to law.Political security brigade statement: the copyright of this article belongs to the original author, if there is a source error or infringement of your legitimate rights and interests, you can contact us through the mailbox, we will promptly deal with.Email address: jpbl@jp.jiupainews.com
